Paediatric Sleep & Settling – Infant & Toddler

Sleep and settling support for infants and toddlers

To make an appointment or for further information about our services, please visit Infant Sleep Australia

Infant Sleep Australia supports families with babies, toddlers and preschoolers who are struggling with sleep. We understand how exhausting and overwhelming sleep difficulties can be, and we work alongside families to create calm, realistic sleep solutions that support child development and family wellbeing.

Our Melbourne clinic is led by Dr Laura Conway (PhD, Sleep Practitioner), who provides evidence-based sleep care. Families are typically seen for a 50-minute initial appointment, followed by a 25-minute follow-up appointment 2-3 weeks later via Telehealth. Additional appointments can be arranged as needed.

We work with families experiencing a wide range of sleep challenges, including:

  • Frequent night wakings
  • Difficulty settling to sleep or bedtime resistance
  • Unwanted bed sharing
  • Short or fragmented sleep
  • Early morning waking.

Our approach is child-centred, compassionate, and evidence-based. Before your appointment, we carefully review your child’s sleep diary to understand their unique sleep profile. During your appointment, we work collaboratively with you to set achievable goals that align with your values, your child’s temperament, and your family’s capacity. You are welcome to bring your child to the appointment, but this is not essential.

You will receive an individualised sleep plan on the same day as your appointment, giving clear step-by-step guidance based on our discussion. We will review progress together 2-3 weeks later during additional appointments, and adjust the plan as needed.

We are committed to providing gentle, structured, and goal-oriented care, helping families feel supported, confident, and well-rested while ensuring sleep strategies are grounded in best-practice paediatric evidence.
