David is the Director of Monash Kids Physio and continues to work at Monash Children’s Hospital as an advanced practice orthopaedic and rheumatology physiotherapist. He leads the MCH outpatient physiotherapy service and is the Allied Health Clinical Lead for patients requiring complex pain management. His previous roles include Neurodevelopmental Therapy Senior Physiotherapist at Casey Hospital’s Special Care Nursery and Senior Physiotherapist within the Royal Children’s Hospital Pain Management Service.

David has undertaken extensive postgraduate study, including:

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours – University of Melbourne
• Postgraduate Certificate of Paediatric Physiotherapy – University of Melbourne
• Specialist Certificate of Paediatric Orthopaedic Physiotherapy – University of Melbourne

David remains actively involved in the education and training of physiotherapists at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has held the position of Monash University Physiotherapy Teaching Associate, contributing to both Masters-level and short-course education. He also contributes to several national and international working groups focused on paediatric rheumatology initiatives and clinical practice.

David is passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based care that is individualised to the needs of each child and their family. His approach combines extensive specialist clinical experience with a practical, family-centred approach to assessment and management.
