Deirdre Brandner is a child and adolescent psychologist with over 30 years’ experience supporting children and families. She specialises in psychological assessments that help parents, schools, and professionals clearly understand a child’s learning and developmental profile.
Deirdre conducts comprehensive assessments in the areas of learning difficulties, cognitive and educational functioning, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). A former primary school teacher, she brings a deep understanding of classroom demands and how learning differences present in real educational settings.
Her assessments are known for being clear, practical, and strengths-based, with reports that go beyond test results to explain what findings mean in everyday learning and behaviour. Deirdre works closely with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure recommendations translate into meaningful support at home and in the classroom.
