Laura is a specialist Occupational Therapist with 17 years experience.

She has a broad range of experience but particularly loves working with younger children, to help them be understood and supported, setting up positive strategies and routines.

Laura loves helping children with early learning difficulties to create a positive educational experience. This includes addressing executive functioning difficulties and ADHD presentations (attention, organisation, problem solving, social skills and emotional regulation) as well as fine motor skills.

She also has a particular passion working with babies and children with neurological conditions such as Cerebral Palsy.

Laura has trained in specialised assistive technology, car modifications, handwriting assessments and school assessments including VCE requirements.

Laura has worked at the Royal Children’s Hospital and internationally in London tertiary children’s hospitals. She is currently the senior OT Monash Children’s Hospital and runs her NeuroREACH OT business.

Laura believes in collaborating closely with parents, teachers and other professionals to understand and address each individual child’s unique needs.

She works in homes, childcares, kindergartens and schools, to create a positive learning environment, as well as at the Victorian Children’s Clinic.

Laura is Medicare registered and works with NDIS participants.

She has her own busy family with two little boys and her fur baby Lottie. She loves going on family outings and exploring all the local playgrounds and cafes with her boys.
